Our commitment to caring for seniors began in 1963 when Reverend A. L. Braswell
, a dedicated pastor, and a part-time contractor was asked to build a healthcare facility in Pomona
In the years that followed, the Reverend's sons Jim and Art joined their father in the healthcare field. Since then, serving the needs of the senior population has grown to become a Braswell family passion.
Today the Braswell Family
own and operate 6 healthcare facilities
. They are all within a 100-mile radius. Three of the six properties are located within a 10-mile radius of each other in the cities of Redlands and Yucaipa, California. Each facility has developed a specialty niche to help complete Braswell's goal of being able to meet all the seniors' needs no matter what they may be. The Braswell facilities range in service from independent retirement living to short-term aggressive rehabilitation to secured Alzheimer's care to sub-acute hospice.
Jim's son, James H. Braswell, is the President of the 6 operations. James works with the management team to continue the vision that was started back in 1963. James Braswell plans to remain a strong efficient operator, with a clear vision of the services and businesses that are needed for the future.
Over the years, the healthcare industry has changed rapidly, and so have we. We have focused on hiring gerontology specialists
to direct our medical decisions. Our nursing directors, dietitians, and other professional staff are all highly trained in their specialties, providing the best possible care for our residents. We adopted a fifteen-minute response program for notification of acceptance to discharge planners and streamlined placement to all our facilities with just one phone call. We have the personnel, equipment, and systems in place to respond quickly and efficiently to your loved one's specific needs.
We are dedicated to working with our residents and their families, providing a home-like atmosphere of warmth and friendliness that maximizes comfort, gives support, and encourages independence.
