Braswell’s Yucaipa Valley Convalescent Hospital is a 59 bed Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facility, which has served friends and family in the Yucaipa Valley since 1965. We are located approximately 10 miles east of Redlands Community Hospital and 14 miles east of Loma Linda University Medical Center. Our facility is one of a few that have a Veterans Administration contract allowing us to admit residents from the VA Hospital and from other facilities when the veteran requires a higher level of care.
We have a Registered Nurse during the day, seven days a week. Our professional staff is dedicated to providing person-centered care to our residents, rehabilitative treatment, and progressive services in a warm, friendly home-like setting and atmosphere that maximizes comfort, provides support, and encourages independence. Keeping each resident at the highest independent level of function is the goal of the entire staff. Individual attention and personalized treatment is provided to achieve this goal.
When home is no longer the best option, Braswell’s Yucaipa Valley Convalescent Hospital strives to provide “Quality Care with Love” in a warm and friendly environment.

“My mother was in another Nursing Home in Arcadia, and I had a lot of problems dealing with them. When her “100 days” were up, I wanted to mover her close to me in Yucaipa, but I had no idea how to start the process. My son helped me to check out facilities online, and got really good ratings. Driving by the place wasn’t that impressive, but “Don’t judge a book by its cover” could not be more true in this case – I can’t say enough good things about Sue Boulay, she made a very difficult and stressful situation seem effortless. She handled everything so efficiently and quickly, getting my mom transferred from Arcadia to Yucaipa. My mom had a feeding tube that I wanted removed (as per my mother’ wishes) and I was given the run-around from everyone at the other nursing facility – Not Sue, she got on it immediately and it was taken care of! Thanks again.”
