Our
commitment to caring for seniors began in 1963 when Reverend A. L.
Braswell, a dedicated pastor and part-time contractor, was asked to
build a health care facility in Pomona. In the years that followed, the
Reverend's sons Jim and Art joined their father in the healthcare field.
Since then, serving the needs of the senior population has grown to
become a Braswell family passion.
Over the years, the healthcare industry has changed rapidly, and
so have we. We have focused on hiring gerontology specialists to direct
our medical decisions. Our nursing directors, dietitians and other
professional staff are all highly trained in their specialties,
providing the best possible care for our residents. We have installed
state-of-the-art phone and computer systems to improve communication and
record keeping. We adopted a thirty-minute response program for
notification of acceptance to discharge planners, and streamlined
placement to all our facilities with just one phone call. We have the
personnel, equipment and systems in place to respond quickly and
efficiently to your loved one's specific needs.
We are dedicated to working with our residents and their
families, providing a home-like atmosphere of warmth and friendliness
that maximizes comfort, gives support and encourages independence. To
this end, we continue to make certain that each day our mission is
fulfilled . . . to provide "Quality Care with Love."
