“I have great praise for the Ivy Retreat and all the staff there. I’m just sorry that my mum had to take Cornelius out due to her financial situation. I would recommend the Ivy Retreat to anyone, the staff are all so nice and everyone is taken care of there. Michelle G really helped me so much with anything I needed to know and I really appreciated her help. I couldn’t have done all that I did without her help with forms, & questions, etc. I’m hoping I can help my mum out more because she is not healthy enough to look after Cornelius, hopefully I can work something out so he could come back there in the future as we know he was taken care of there in the Ivy Retreat.
Thank you all, for all everybody did. It was much appreciated, and thanks Michelle for all your help. Thank you all.”

“The office staff was extremely helpful and the nurses I met seemed caring. Mom needed a high level of care and attention and I believe the staff did their best to provide it. It was a blessing to discover that an old friend Sharon Taylor was on your staff. She was terrific and I appreciated her attention to mom’s needs.
I wish I had written this a few weeks ago, because I wanted to remember each nurse by name. I hope they are recorded on her records. One particular person I want to thank is Chamika (I hope that is close). She was with us the night Mom passed away. Her care and sensitivity were incredible and the young woman who helped her was also very sweet to us.
The wound care staff and daily attendants are also to be commended. My mom was not very coherent and would have been easy to ignore, but each day that I visited, I felt that she was being attended to. The phone updates were also appreciated.
Please express our family’s gratitude to each one on staff who had contact with mom and to the sweet woman who was her roommate. They were a blessing to us all.”
